(A Lot) About Me
My name is Scot, and I love making things. Since I was a little kid, I've been hyper-interested in drawing, as well as other hands-on things, like arts & crafts, baking, sewing, etcetera. In my teens, I went through a period of deep self-reflection out of a desperation to understand why my life & mind was the way it was. I learned that I had undiagnosed Autism and ADHD, as well as potential personality disorders from A.C.Es. I'd also learned more about my sense of self--I am a genderless, non-binary person, and I have a queer heart. Coming out was an immensely rough time, and it opened my eyes to the reality of my situation at home. But, it also opened the avenue for me to discover what I truly wanted out of my life.
All I wanted in this life was to live in peace and joy, and to have fun with friends. I didn't want any spectacular popularity, or to have an impressive art career... I just wanted to experience all that life has to offer before I die for good. That's my grand life goal, coming from 19-20 year old me. But my secondary goal in this time, is to get into the beauty industry so that I can support both myself and my friends/community/the less fortunate & good causes, via. finance and services. I completed over 1,000 hours of cosmetology training in highschool, and I'm yet to take the State Board test for my license to practice. I would like to offer the dignity of affirming and honest cosmetic care to all people without discrimination. I recognize the prejudices that queer & transgender people face in salons in particular, so it makes this goal extremely important to me.
A tertiary, or more immediate goal of mine, is to move out of my house with my two cats Barley and Yume, as soon as possible. It is imperative that I do so for my long term health, and for my mental wellbeing. My future dream is to move to the east coast to be closer to my friends I trust, but I am also considering non-U.S.A. countries like Canada. But for now, I am reaching to get out into a more reachable area within California, so that moving costs do not put me at a liability while I'm off on my own. Because of my need to move out, I deeply appreciate every bit of support and aid I can get. I have a goal to find employment soon, as it'll be the meat of making savings.
It is very nerve-wracking to be forthcoming with my life's story to strangers on the internet, but I hope that this gave you folks an insight on my background, and who's this mysterious miser behind all this wacko art. So, thanks. Thank you for your support in my artistic endeavors! (03/01/2026)
